Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Wild Rose Humane Society. Donating hundreds of hours in virtually every area of our organization, volunteers allow us to continue to provide the services we do. Regardless of the task, all of the work of our dedicated volunteers contributes to our goal of finding loving homes for deserving pets and their new families.
You must be 18 years of age to volunteer independently. Youth between 13 -17 years of age will require signed parental permission to volunteer and will be under the supervision of an adult volunteer.
If you are interested in volunteering we ask you to commit to a minimum of 1 shift per week for the first 3 months and a minimum of 2 shifts per month after that to remain active.
Shelter volunteer shifts are mornings from 9:00 AM -11:30 AM and evenings from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM, 7 days a week. We do have volunteer opportunities that have smaller time commitments, but volunteering within our animal care roles will require a dedicated commitment.
